- Cleaning and Maintaining:
– All wraps can be dry cleaned at less than 280 degrees Fahrenheit with hook and loop in closed position
– Hook and loop may be cleaned with a lint brush
– When decontamination bloodborne pathogens, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse - Storage: Store with hook and loop in closed position in a dry area to prevent mildew
- Instructions:
– Pull apart the ends of the wrap, detaching the hook and loop closure
– Decide how the wrap will be best positioned, wrap around in a safe, secure manner, and align the hook and loop together
– Be sure the handles are in a correct position so the person may be transported properly - Note:
– Do not use for prolonged periods of time
– Improper adjustment may prohibit proper circulation
