How to care for Trulife Swim Breast Prosthesis?
To ensure long-lasting performance and satisfaction, please follow these care and cleaning instructions:
- Treat triangle swim form as you would your own skin/body. Stay away from sharp objects, which can cause permanent damage to the Breast Form film.
- Get fitted by a professionally trained mastectomy fitter to ensure proper bra fit.
- Avoid applying powder, perfume, deodorant, cream, moisturizer, tanning products, or lotions to the Trulife Active Flow and the chest wall.
- Wash Trulife Active Flow Swim Form by hand daily with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly, then towel dry. Do not wring.
- To maintain its shape and protect it from accidental harm, store the Trulife breast prosthesis in its original packaging away from direct heat.
- If the breast forms for swimming contain small air bubbles, allow a few days for small air bubbles to dissipate; they don’t affect performance.
- It should only be worn when the surgical site is completely healed and radiation treatments are finished.
- Do not wear it if your skin is broken or irritated. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and contact your physician.
