More Information
Every week the Stress Management Journal focuses on a different subject.
- The first two weeks are devoted to just observing and noticing the connection between obvious and non-obvious causes of stress. This sounds simple, but it takes practice identifying the underlying, non-obvious sources of stress. And the journal shows you how. (When you get into an argument with your kids during the morning rush, you’ll learn that it’s probably not the kids but time pressure that’s really bugging you.)
- In the third week, you will learn physical techniques for reducing stress, like deep breathing, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation.
- In the fourth week the journal will teach you how to monitor your thoughts in order to avoid common negative thinking traps.
