- Instructions:
1. Loosen wing nut and remove knobbed screw from clamp
2. Before placing Swing-Away Foot Support on footrest, detach Velcro strip and position it to the side. Place clamp around footrest support bar.
3. Insert knobbed screw through both holes in a clamp and secure wing nut.
4. Bring Velcro strip under wheelchair footrest plate.
5. Insert Velcro strip through D-ring.
6. Bring Velcro strip back under footrest and secure Velcro hoop. Note: It is important that you take up all slack so that foot support will be securely positioned on footrest plate. - Important Safety Notice:
– Be certain to swing each footrest to the side before transferring patient to or from the wheelchair. - Product Care:
– Swing-Away Foot Supports can be wiped clean using a damp cloth. A spray-type cleanser can be used. Removed lint and other accumulated particles from the Velcro material by means of a small, stiff brush.
