How to use the Skil-Care Bolster System
- Easy to Use:
– This Bed Bolster System is designed to be used on standard mattresses or over a low air-loss mattress.
– When used in conjunction with a low air-loss mattress, use model 556021 (with mesh bottom and no pad).
– Also, if a bed pad or diaper is used, use special purpose models designed for that use.
– When model 556020 is used place the absorbent bed pad over the nylon base and match the Velcro tabs and press down.
– You will note that the blue micro-fiber fabric is facing Up. - Attachment to the Bed:
– Wrap the four straps around the bed frame that moves as the head of the bed raises or lifts - Easy Clean:
– The nylon bolsters can be wiped clean with standard disinfectants.
– The bed pad can be laundered at temperatures that dont exceed 1800 F (820C) - Caution:
– This system is not designed for lifting except from bed to the wheelchair for residents under 180lbs.
