Rosidal K High Compression Bandages, manufactured by, Lohmann & Rauscher, are used when a high amount of compression is desired from a Bandage on the extremities. This bandage is textured for a unique feel. Compression bandages can be used for support, stress relief, phlebology sports medicine, and lymphedema treatments, among other things.
Unlike some other Bandages, the Rosidal K is washable and reusable up to 50 times. This bandage can be sterilized with steam heated to 121 degrees. The Non-Adherant bandage is Latex-free, but the clasps include latex. This cotton bandage is air permeable to reduce irritation to the skin. Compression Bandages are a useful for muscles that could use more support and compression than is provided by a standard Wound Care Dressing.
