How to use Prodigy Solution?
- Wash your hands and insert a test strip into your meter
- When the meter is on, mark the test as a control solution test.
- Shake the bottle of control solution and squeeze the bottle to get a drop on a tissue paper or cotton pad.
- Squeeze a second drop onto your fingertip.
- Apply that drop to the test strip. You’re good to go if the results are within the range printed on the test strip vial.
- If results are outside of this range, repeat the test.

When should the Control Tests be performed?
- Monthly
- When you begin using a new vial of test strips
- When test strips are exposed to extreme environmental conditions
- If you drop the meter, you change the battery
- If you suspect the meter is malfunctioning,
Precautions:
- Do not refrigerate
- Do not use it if the expiration date has passed
- Discard 3 months after opening
- Store at room temperature
