How to Use the Super Slide:
– Step 1: Roll the patient on his/her side. Place the transfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide next to the patients back.
– Step 2: Position the patient on the transfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide. Extend the transfer slide in the direction of the transfer.
– Step 3: Grasp hold of the handles on the tranfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide and begin the transfer by pulling the patient in the desired direction. The smooth inner surface of the transfer slide makes the transfer easy while reducing strain on the caregivers back. For heavy patients, two caregivers maybe need to complete the transfer.
– Step 4: Once the transfer has been completed, roll the patient on their side and remove the SuperSlide.
