How to use Medline Toilet Rails?
- Remove existing toilet seat/lid assembly.
- Place the toilet safety frame bracket between the toilet fixture and toilet seat/lid assembly with the rounded part of the bracket facing the back of the toilet (Figure 1).
- Replace the toilet seat/lid and reinsert mounting bolts through the bracket and toilet fixture. Replace and tighten nuts.
- Insert side frames into brackets. Depress the detent button and slide the side frame into the desired position (Figure 2).
- Adjust foot pieces to the desired height. Make sure both foot pieces are fully engaged and adjusted at equal heights.
- Make sure the mounting hardware is tightened and all detent buttons are fully engaged before use
Cleaning Instructions
- Your safety frame can be easily cleaned with regular household cleaning products.
- DO NOT use abrasive powders or scouring pads.
Grip Cleaning Instructions
- Clean the grips with a mild soap, detergent, or household cleaner.
- Do not use an organic solvent (such as acetone, MEK, lacquer thinner, lighter fluid, dry cleaning fluid, gasoline, or turpentine) that may dissolve the plastic and cause the grip to loosen
