– It is not recommended for patients to attempt to apply or adjust this device unless otherwise instructed to do so by an orthopedic professional
– Any question regarding further adjustment or frequency of wear should be directed to the orthopedic professional, as they know the individual condition for which this device was prescribed - Preparation:
– Open the front closure straps and lay the brace down on a flat surface with the outside facing up
– Using the Velcro tabs on the back of the brace, separate the brace into 2 pieces
– Trim the longer of the 2 pieces as little or as much needed for a snug fit, and re-attach. - Cleaning instructions:
– Remove hinges from brace and hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.
– Allow all parts to air dry before re assemble.
– Do not dry clean, iron or bleach any part of this brace, as it could cause damage and void the manufacturer warranty.
