When to use it?

How to use it?
Proper Fitting
- Place your foot in the splint, making sure that the posterior strut of the splint makes full contact with the rear of the leg
- Using a marker, trace around the toes
- Using a pair of scissors, cut along the outline of the toes
- Use sandpaper to smooth the cut edge to prevent irritation
How to wear this splint?
- Loosen the top cuff strap and place your foot inside the splint, making sure that the posterior strut makes full contact with the back of the leg. (Figure A)
- Wrap the cuff closure strap around the leg and secure it to itself using the Velcro provided. (Figure B)
The cuff strap should fit snugly for maximum energy return. - Place your foot with the attached splint inside of your shoe as normal.
Cleaning Instructions
- The foot drop splint can be wiped clean using a cloth with mild detergent.
- Air dry the foot splint
- Do not attempt to iron or machine dry any portion of the splint
