How to Install Bidematic Bidet System?
- Remove Toilet Seat. Position the hole at the end of the support bracket on top of the left hole of the toilet bowl where the seat is attached. Insert the bushing (threaded brass tube) through the support bracket hole and the left hole of the toilet bowl where the seat is attached. From underneath the toilet bowl, place metal washer and nut on the bushing to secure the unit in position.
- Push the Bidematic lever in all the way, to center the shower head of the spout in the middle of the toilet bowl. Then tighten the nut onto the threaded brass tube. Also tighten the nut that fastens the support bracket to the main body of the unit. Before tightening the nuts completely, make sure the shower head is approximately in the center of the bowl when in use and under the rim of the toilet bowl when recessed. Do not over-tighten the nuts!
- Place the plastic washer on top of the right hole of the toilet bowl where the seat is attached. Reattach the toilet seat with the original bolts and nuts (one bolt goes through the threaded brass tube and the other one through the plastic washer). Note: If the Hot/Cold water model is connected only to the cold wale;, use a tineaded 1/2″ bass cap to lightly close the unit’s hot water intake.
